Invalidating Doppler Shift - The Indistinguishability of the Constancy of the Velocity of Light

The cornerstone of relativity being valid relies on the velocity of light being invariant, meaning it never shifts. My books argue that it does... and presents the monumental consequences of that reality.

Relativity (Lorentz Invariance) says:
c' = c (The velocity of light is the same from all frames of reference)

but Dr. Edward Dowdye's "Extinction Shift Principle" (Galilean Variance) says:
c' ≠ c (The velocity of light is NOT the same from all frames of reference)
and that
c' = c ± v (The velocity of light in one frame of reference is dependent upon the velocity of the light source relative to an observer in another frame of reference. Whether that light source is approaching or receding away from that observer)

As Einstein himself wrote in a letter to Erwin Finley-Freundlich in August of 1913: "Wenn die Lichtgeschwindigkeit auch nur ein bißchen von der Geschwindigkeit der Lichtquelle abhängig ist, dann ist meine ganze Relativitätstheorie und Gravitationstheorie falsch."

("If the velocity of light is even a little bit dependent upon the velocity of the light source, then my ENTIRE theory of Relativity and theory of Gravitation is false.")

It turns out... the velocity of light IS INDEED dependent upon the velocity of the light source.
This article (and the next couple) will explain exactly why.

Turns out, the wave IS variant.
(the speed of light shifts. It's variable, not fixed in ALL frames)

Relativity (Lorentz invariance) says:
∂²/∂x² + ∂²/∂y² + ∂²/∂z² - 1/c² (∂²/∂t²) = ∂²’/∂x’² + ∂²’/∂y’² + ∂²’/∂z’² - 1/ν’² λ’² ∂²’/∂t’²

Galilean Variance yields the solution without needing relativity or extraneous corrections.
The variable approach differentiates between the actual scenario versus illusions!
∂²Φ/∂x² + ∂²Φ/∂y² + ∂²Φ/∂z² - 1/c² (∂²Φ/∂t²) = 0

The IMAGINARY OBSERVER would find
Φ = ΦₒSin2π (νt + 1/λ x)
to be a solution of the wave equation of the PRIMARY wave at velocity c relative to S, where νλ = c,
(because it's coming from the source)
but at velocity c' from another frame of reference ≠ c relative to the rest frame.

The ACTUAL OBSERVER would find
Φ’ = Φ’ₒSin2π (ν’t’ + 1/λ’ x’)

That works to be a solution of the wave equation of the SECONDARY wave at velocity c relative to S’
(S' meaning, the source viewed from another frame of reference)
Important Note... There is NO Time Dilation in Galilean Variance. There is an equivalent "Transverse Relative Time Shift" between CLOCKS.

Relativity forbids the velocity of light from ever changing. It's wrongfully assumed the face of a clock represents reality itself. Data transmitted from satellite to ground does not dilate at all.

Both the IMAGINARY and ACTUAL OBSERVER would find that the velocity of the wave being observed is always:
ν'λ'= [ν(1± cv)][λ(1± cv)-1]= νλ = c ∴ ν'λ'= νλ = c
(the subsequent re-emissions are ultimately from the electrons making up the observer himself. An observer is only capable of measuring his own re-emissions relative to himself.

Differentiating the equation for Φ twice after t and x, the IMAGINARY OBSERVER gets

The ACTUAL OBSERVER derives

t' = t (Time IS the same from all frames of reference)
c' ≠ c (The velocity of light is NOT the same from all frames of reference)
c' = c ± v (The velocity of light in one frame of reference is dependent upon the velocity of the light source relative to an observer in another frame of reference. Whether that light source is approaching or receding away from that observer)

Imaginary Observer is a fictional 3rd person narrator watching the scene. Like a ghost, unable to affect the light and electrons present in that scenario. AS IF present but unaffecting the scenario to produce re-emissions. As if being able to view the primary packets in their undisturbed state.
In reality, electrons making up all observers interacts with the light and disturbs the EM radiation in any scenario.

This means there is no Doppler Shift!

Doppler assumes the same primary packet of light or EM radiation constantly distorts within the same frame of reference due to a space-time medium.
Let's say a car honks a horn and drives by you. Everyone can clearly hear the pitch of the horn change as the car passes by. But that is not a Doppler shift!

Doppler assumes it's the same sound constantly distorting within the same frame of reference. When you speak, your vocal cords are flapping back and forth, laterally. One flap.... a second brand new flap... a third brand new flap... etc. Over and over, a certain number of times a second/ a given frequency.

Let's say the vocal cords are flapping back and forth 100 times a second. That is 100 Hertz. Each Hertz frequency is a brand new packet altogether. Actually, each half cycle of the sine wave function is a brand new emission unto itself. But we'll stick with sound for the moment.

As you walk by someone and speak, or humm a tone... the frequency/vibration of that tone will change relative to the person you are passing by. To you... the tone is constant. The rate at which your vocal cords are producing brand new lateral vibrations per second is a constant. But by the time the air is disturbed relative to the person you're passing... your position changed... at a constant. Therefore the frequency changes to the other person.

Not because "the same" sound distorted in the same frame of reference. No... you are moving... passing by them... therefore there is a constantly changing frame of reference. And the sound is shaking the air back and forth 100 times per second. But it's a brand new shake each flap of the vocal cords. So the velocity of the incoming sound changes slightly because you're in motion relative to the person hearing your humm or tone change frequency.

The same concept applies to all electromagnetic radiation as well. Relativity (Lorentz invariance) assumes the solutions to Maxwell's and Heaviside's equations require a constancy in all frames of reference. But that is an artifice and not accurate. There is no medium needed, nor is there a constancy in all frames. It shifts due to re-emissions.

A frequency shift is a change in the velocity of light from a new frame of reference. But since Lorentz invariance (relativity) and Galilean invariance (aether theory) forbid the velocity of light from ever shifting... they view the same frequency shift and same scenarios as being a literal warping and distorting of a mythical space-time medium or a non-existent aether instead.

But there is no such medium... It's never the same packet... and the invariance of the velocity of light in all frames of reference is an illusion!

Galilean Variance says it's never the same packet, it's a brand new packet at each instant and coming from a constantly changing frame of reference. And space-time doesn't even exist. It's just used as a mathematical crutch on paper. An artifice.

A couple years ago, I put this interactive page together going back and forth with ChatGPT, to code using Javascript. Here is a video playing with the slide controls to show 3 different sinewaves (3 different lights/emissions).

The packets are ALWAYS in phase from medium to medium. The frequency shifts BECAUSE the velocity of light shifts. NOT a Doppler shift of "the same light" distorting within the same frame of reference. It's a brand new light at each point. The incoming light is a different frame of reference. All the light you ever see is the re-emitted light from the electrons making up yourself.

I modified Dr. Dowdye's 2D diagram with the sine waves through a refracting medium to make it a bit clearer. It's not the same light refracting or transmitting or continuing on within the same frame of reference.

There are 3 different lights.
The incoming primary... the re-emitted secondary through dispersion within the medium... and the re-emitted tertiary that seemingly "exits" the medium.
It's a brand new light at every point of interference, and at every half cycle of the sine wave function.
