THE PURPOSE OF GOD’S KIND OF LOVE: INTRODUCTION.

"No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us". 1 John 4:12-13.

"Then God said, Let us make humans in our image, in our likeness. Let them rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the domestic animals all over the earth, and all the animals that crawl on the earth. So God created humans in his image. In the image of God, he created them. He created them male and female". Gen 1:26-27

“If the meaning and purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable,” said a wise man. I believe that God never wanted any of us to relate with him in ignorance. For this reason, I wrote about the meaning of Agape Love yesterday. God did not give us His love in our heart (God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Rom 5:5) to remain dormant. His love was given to you for a purpose. He gave it to us for many reasons.
In this series, I will take you through the scripture to find out the purpose or the reason why God has given us His kind of love. God is a God of purpose; therefore it is a must that we need to know His mind and intention in our walk with Him.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, I will be bringing out five reasons why God gave us His kind of love. My prayer is that this will act as a pointer to the greater revelation that the Holy Spirit will give you. Andrew Wommack said that it is always better to run your ministry and life on your own revelation rather than depending always on someone else revelation.

My prayer is that as you are reading this article and subsequent ones on the purpose of God’s kind of love that the Holy Spirit will give you a greater and deeper revelation that will build you up to love God, love yourself and love your neighbor better.

The purpose is very vital. “That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good” Rom 8:28. Before Jesus could tell you that the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, then you must be rest assured that it is for a purpose, God made everything for a purpose. Also whatever God asked you to do is for a purpose.

I pray that God will open the eyes of your understanding for you to know the mystery of God’s kind of love. Devil is doing everything possible to stop Christians from knowing this truth. But Jesus said that we shall know the truth and the truth will make us free. Be ready because God’s deeper truths will be revealed in this series
