It makes one wonder why Steemit posts were originally designed to allow upvote of one's own post in the first place? However, if it is there, why not use it? If it is an issue, the Steemit team can alway change it, and I imagine this activity is already figured into the Steemit algorithms. Seems like much ado about nothing.
