Abkhazia Plans To Create Large Crypto Mining Farms
The republic of Abkhazia is already planning to create state owned large cryptocurrency mining farm and set to be the first contry to setup a state-owned crypto mining farm.
The president of the partially recognised country, Raul Khadjimba stated this in an interview given to news outlet RiaFAN and published on the 2nd of July, 2019.
He stated that the project is aimed at bringing some revenue to the country’s budget. He pointed out that there are some exsisting mining farms already setup illegally by individuals and then emphasised the need for these type of activities to be fully owned by the government.
If implemented, the country will be the first to run a state-owned mining farm, this is a step towards mainstream adoption. The potential of a state-owned mining farm is still unknown at the moment and if the country can make a fortune from it, many other countries will move out of crypto-phobia to help generate more income, this campaign can be started by those countries experiencing some economic problems presently.
