The Diary Game : A Weekend Filled With Expression Of Love (29-11-2025)

Hello my wonderful family. How are you all doing? I hope you had a great and stress-free day. I'm Uduak Nathaniel by name, but my steemit username is @mamauduak. I am a newcomer on this platform and this is my first time posting in this community. I'll be sharing my diary with you. I was really pleased that it was the weekend. A member of our church was having her marriage introduction was later in the evening and I needed to be in attendance.

My eldest daughter returned home last night and I asked her to style my hair. I just wanted something simple but very beautiful and she did a very nice job. I'm very proud of my daughter. She's becoming better at styling. My elder sister came visiting. She really admired my hair and I'll even add that, she was jealous of my hair.

After styling my hair, I went in to prepared food for my family. I made yam and egg sauce. This is my husband and daughter's favorite meal. My daughter was in the kitchen with me all the time. We talked about a lot things. My female children are really close to me. They tell me everything that happens in their lives and I'm glad I so able to gain their trust.

My children did the chores and their laundry already. We had breakfast together. I went in the have my bath. I rested for an hour. In the afternoon, my daughter and I went to our tailor's shop to pick our dress. When we got home, we dressed up and went for the wedding introduction.

By the time we got to the marriage venue, the marriage had already begun. The compound was neat. There were more people at the marriage than I expected. I was excited for the bride, Idara. That means there will be a greater turn up at her traditional marriage.

There had variety of food but I asked for coconut rice. The food was spicy so I didn't really enjoyed it but the marriage was blissful. I met one of our former choir director. I haven't seen him for over a year now. We sat together and chatted for a while.

When the bride saw me, she was really excited. She screamed and gave me a huge hug. She said she wasn't expecting to see me pior to the late invitation and the distance. She asked if I had something to eat, which of course I did.

I left the marriage venue by 6pm. It was had to find a bus back to town. I stood on the road with my daughter for over fifteen minutes. The drive from the village to town was over two hours. It was really tiring. I had my bath when I got home. This weekend was not as exhausting as weekdays. I had a splendid weekend. I hope you enjoyed my blog
