The Diary Game: Going To Work And Attending Matriculation (16-01-2026)

Hello everyone. I apologize for not sharing my diary for a while. My phone is bad. I took it to the repairer and he hasn't found the item yet. It's been out of stock for a while. I was really disappointed. While today, I've decided to share my day's experience with you. Yesterday came with a lot of engagements. One of my clients invited me for his daughter's matriculation. He's a very good client that's why I decided to honour the invitation.

I woke up by 5:30am. After our morning devotion, I went straight to the kitchen to start preparing breakfast. I got to the kitchen and I didn't know what to make. They must have something very healthy and I decided to make plantain and stew. I made this stew with oyster. I had already steamed the oyster and left it in the refrigerator. Peeled the plantain and boiled it. In less than two hours. Breakfast was set.

Breakfast

I prepared my kids for school and we all headed out. I got to the office very early. Most of my colleagues weren't at work yet and for the first time in a very long while, there was no client waiting for me. I sat on my desk and said my prayer. After praying, my colleague came in. We chatted for a while. She spoke about her family. I told her about the invitation and asked her to stand in for me. She agreed to do so only if I got permission from our manager.

At the office

People started trooping in and work started fully. There wasn't a lot of clients though. When my manager came in, I went to her to inform her that I would be going somewhere and it turned out that teg man had invited her as well. Since she didn't have time to go, she granted my premission and told me I was going as the representative of the company. I left the office by 12 noon. The matriculation was at Obong University. I had no idea that the place was really far from town.

At Obong University

I met with the man when I got there. The matriculation was already over. He was so glad to see me. He said he wasn't sure I could come because of work. I extended my Manager's regard. I took pictures with her daughter.

I said some words of encouragement to the girl and gifted her. She was really appreciatave. I was about to leave when the father insisted I had something to eat. I refused because I was behind time. He insisted and I asked him to pack my food for me. He went ahead to pack it for my manager and my colleague. I was short of words. I thanked him and left.

Food from the matriculation venue

I made sure to deliver the message when I finally got to the office. I continued my work from where she stopped. She wasn't still satisfied with the food I brought back for her. She still demanded for a special treat. I'll love to end here. Thank you for reading.

REMAIN BLESSED 🤍
