New Score Alert!💃🏽💃🏽
Hi, friends!
It's great to have you back. For a while now, I've been trying to hit some new milestones. First, my goal was to move from my usual score of 1,580 to at least 1,600 and above. Two ways to achieve this were:
- Working on my speed
- Stimulating my active recall ability
I deployed different strategies and techniques, but the one that worked for me was reading the information on the images out loud. More like calling out the names of the icons on the cards.
It worked!
I was able to hit over 1,600 points twice.

To be candid, I enjoyed this week's game the most, particularly its theme. For someone who's a fan of good music, I can't deny the role musical instruments play in getting us to tap our feet and sway our bodies.
For this post, I'd like to write about the piano.
The Piano
The piano is one of the most versatile musical instrument. That's because it has the ability to play melody and harmony at the same time.
When learning to play this acoustic instrument, you start by getting familiar with the keys. Every piano has at least 88 keys which are arranged in groups of two and three black keys. Knowing them helps you move around the piano freely.
Learning the piano is easy.
If you'd love to master this instrument as well but can't afford a piano, then you could start with knowing the names of the notes on the treble and bass clefs on the keyboard. They make up 7 in total.
Then associate those notes with their appropriate keys on the keyboard.
For instance, musical notes use the alphabets C D E F G ...A B. Note that there is no H in music. It skips to A.
You will find C at he base of any group of 2s. While F is the first key at the base of the group of 3s.
Knowing this is important. It will be frustrating to try playing an amazing music when you can't find the keys.😄
Actually...
It was my love for this instrument that led me to take up keyboard lessons. Although keyboards are electronic instruments, they still have some major features of the piano and can do basically any key task the piano does.
Playing the piano has helped me improve my hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and finger independence. It's a hobby that keeps me happy and calm. In fact, I'd say that playing musical instruments, particularly the piano or keyboard is therapeutic.
What are your favourite musical instruments? @jasminemary @mayberling @saintkelvin17

I'm impressed to see that you loved piano 🎹.
😊
Hola mi linda... El piano es un instrumento musical que a primera vista es difícil e aprender, pero cuando queremos algo, no hay obstáculos que nos detengan.
Hi, @patience.
It's great to have you here. The piano is actually easy to play. Once you can identify the keys, you can play basically any tune with it unlike other instruments that need months of mastery before you can produce a beautiful tune. And yes, when we want something, nothing can stop us from achieving it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful comment.
