Bollywood Songs That Are Revamped From Super Hit Old Melodies

The current blockbuster, Judwaa 2 featuring Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez was a reboot of the 1997 film Judwaa. In the film, two tunes were highlighted, Oonchi Hai Building 2.0 and Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12. Did you realize that these tunes are the redo of songs from the same movie Judwaa?
All things considered, this isn't happening for the first time in Bollywood. Prior, in motion pictures like Kaabil, Raees, OK Jaanu and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, revamps of superhit melodies from past motion pictures were included.
And this is what we are going to talk about today. I have brought for you all a list of such songs that have been revamped from super hit old melodies. These reinvented ones are a step ahead of the former ones as they are garnished with new beats and at times, rap too.

1. Laila Main Laila - Raees
   
   Despite the fact that Sunny wasn't a part of the film, the extraordinary item song made her take the spotlight. The energetic number was a variation of the prominent Zeenat Aman's Laila O Laila from the film Qurbaani [1980].
2. The Humma Song - Ok Jaanu
   
   1998 release Bombay, a Mani Ratnam directed movie featured soundtrack, composed by AR Rahman, the song Humma Humma still remains to be one of the most popular creations ever. Even its recreation as The Humma Song in movie OK Jaanu served the same energy that no one can stop tapping their feet.
   
   The makers of Judwaa 2 have decided to stay true to the title of the iconic song that helps the audience relive the original Anu Malik song Oonchi Hai Building, from the 1997 film Judwaa, starring Salman Khan in lead role.
3. Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12 - Judwaa 2
   
   Varun Dhawan came up with the remixed version of the blockbuster song Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12, originally picturized in Salman Khan's Judwaa, which was released in 1997.
4. Haseeno Ka Deewana from the film Kaabil
   
   The new version Haseeno Ka Deewana from the film Kaabil has been picked from the 1981 film Yaarana where the song Sara Zamana Haseeno Ka Deewana featured Amitabh Bachchan in a flickering light suit.
5. Tamma Tamma Again - Badrinath Ki Dulhania
   Portrayed on the popular on-screen couple Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, from Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Tamma Tamma sets its trend on the popular Madhuri Dixit song of the same name from the 1990 film Thanedaar.
6. Cheez Badi - Machine
   Starring actors Mustafa Burmawalla and Kiara Advani from the film Machine, Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast is a revamped version of the famous Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar song from the 1994 film Mohra.
7. Bachna Ae Haseeno from Bachna Ae Haseeno
   A hit song from Ranbir Kapoor's father's film Hum Kisise Kum Naheen inspired the title of his film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno'. Like father, like son, though Rishi Kapoor's version was entertaining, youthful Ranbir Kapoor set the silver screen ablaze.
8. Raat Akeli Hai - Ragini MMS (2011)
   
   This song, by Asha Bhosle, from Jewel Thief was given a completely different twist in the movie Ragini MMS.
9. Hawa Hawai - Shaitan
   
   Mr. India's song Hawa Hawai picturized on Sridevi is a standout amongst the most famous Bollywood tunes. Suman Sridhar gave this song a quirky take in the film, Shaitan.
10. Main Hoon Don - Don (2006)
    
    While no one can really top Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan did a pretty snazzy job in Farhan Akhtar's Don. The title track of the movie got a makeover which everybody seemed to love!
11. The Disco Song - SOTY
    
    Nazia Hassan's 1981 album Disco Deewane charted in fourteen countries worldwide and became the best-selling Asian pop record to-date. In 2012, a revamped version of the song was incorporated into the Indian film Student of the Year.
12. Khaike Paan Banaraswala - Don (2006)
    
    This song has a cult following – fun, bright and raucous – Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan really nailed it and the viewers can't seem to pick a favorite.
13. Maahi Ve - Wajah Tum Ho
    
    The sexy pole dance done by Malaika Arora in the 2002 discharge, 'Kaante' is still crisp in our psyches. Just like that, Maahi Ve from Wajah Tum Ho gave us an exceptionally advanced item number.
