When we talk about how to achieve a good health, we immediately imagine a good diet, sports shoes, go to the gym or run early in the morning.

But the truth is that there are various activities that we can do to ensure that our body in general reaches an optimal state of health, as long as it meets the necessary food and energy requirements (which depend on each individual). also establish the ideal time to perform these activities and finally meet the necessary rest after a physical load.

In Latin America most of the countries are regions rich in forests and mountains and in my country, Venezuela, there are endless regions that offer mountainous places that allow physical activities beneficial for good health.

Mountaineering or hiking also known as "trekking" is considered one of the most complete aerobic sports in terms of physical exercise we refer to because we use our anatomy in its entirety.

The funny thing about this is that unlike other sports such as football, baseball, tennis, among others where clothing is usually sports, in mountaineering, it is advisable to wear more rustic clothing such as hats, glasses, jackets or coats, gloves , pants, boots, ideal for survival in these types of environments that we can not forget that it is about nature.

It is important to emphasize that mountaineering or hiking is a sport that requires a physical effort of moderate intensity and that is why there are mountain guidance articles that allow these exercises to be carried out more efficiently.

It should be noted that the types of exercises that are performed in mountaineering or hiking will depend on the characteristics of the place but usually require our body in its entirety (climbing hills, climbing rocks, climbing trees, swimming in lakes, weather changes) using all our senses, our nervous system, our circulatory and respiratory system, our endocrine system and metabolic affinities and finally our osteomyoarticular system.

This is the reason why this is a complete sport and provides an optimal state of health. It avoids cardiovascular diseases such as arterial hypertension, avoids lung diseases and chronic pathologies such as diabetes, helps to manage good cholesterol figures, increases bone density, provides mental strength and reduces the possibility of suffering episodes of depression.
