May This Illustration Give You Good Fortune

Feng Shui has been part of the Chinese Culture through thousands of years, it has been one of the main practice of the Asian countries, thank you for the Chinese. Without any Scientific explanations, Feng Shui somehow has proven positive outcomes for families who have been practicing them for a long period of time. With this, evident blessings of wealth, health and family bonds.

One of the Feng Shui's belief that may give an individual their desires, that is raising Koi Fishes.

Koi Fishes are famous due to the belief that people who raise Koi fish shall have good fortune, success, prosperity, longetivity, ambitions, courage and perseverance. China and Japan are the most famous country to maintain this type of practice, because they preserve their culture, which has been passed through geenerations to generations.

Tattoo enthusiasts also include koi fish on their design list for they represent remarkable meaning refering to feng shui and a badass look when one shows off their tattoos.

Hello fellow steemians! Today, I'll be sharing again an illustration I made EXCLUSIVELY here on STEEMIT! I will show you the process on making a YIN and YANG inspired Koi Fish Illustration!

To start it all off, I began with a sketch. . . I first made a circle, approximately 5x5 inches in size. Then lined it all up to make equal an size for the koi fishes share later. . .

Then made 2 Koi fishes with different designs. Posed them as if representing a YinYang type of display.

The sketch is done! We now prepare for lining up those fishes!

Here's the lining process. . .

With them lines done, we proceed with coloring. . .

Used Maped Color Pencils for this one. And, here is the process. . .

Finally! We're done with the coloring, here's how it looks. . .

Then finishing it off with a signature. . .

Now we're done, let's put this one into sharing!
