My Entry for Slothicorn Logo Contest
What a wonderful experience, I never thought there would be many exciting contests on @steemit. Especially in the arts and design, so much experience and new lessons I get on this platform. In harmony with my vision and mission to campaign crypto through art, I was fortunate to have joined the @slothicorn community. An art community that highlights the value of quality, appreciation, and licensing in art.
Another luck, @slothicorn is holding a contest in order to rebranding their logo. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the art community.
As requested in the contest description, I created a logo with a futuristic theme by way of processing lines, shapes, typography, and colors. All the designs below are made with CorelDraw X7 which is a vector-based graphics processing software. Here are the details:
Icon
I created an icon representing @slothicorn inspired by the combination of the word "sloth" and "icorn". I think the two words are visually illustrated how the embodiment is. Therefore, I do not hesitate to make an animal silhouette "sloth" that has "icorn" on its forehead.
Logotype
In fact it is rather difficult to describe how the real futuristic impression. But, I conclude that the future happens to update something that already exists by adding or reducing on that. This concept is the basis for processing the typeface to represent @slothicorn.
Profile Banner
This section is display as the identity of @slothicorn. Effectively, I use the logo that has been created to be the decoration element in making this banner.
Footer
This section is commonly used to close a post that should contain brief information that helps readers or followers to get more information about @slothicorn.

Awesome, congrats again @karmachela. You did it! I really like the typography exploration because it's really colorful, experimental, fun and it matches perfectly with the new logo of slothicorn. I'm in love with that unicornian S tbh :)
