@radard is correct re Appics. I have been following them. Their roll-out appears to have been pushed back slightly and they removed references to SMT altogether. Focusing on launch and ICO for now. With respect to SMT, I have not heard anything new.
Thank you @armentor. Hoping someone has information on the launch of SMTs. SMTs will clearly encourage more communities to come on board, thus more users, thus increase demand/price of Steem.
