Beautiful Sunset at Kata Beach

While Patong beach in Phuket has all the crazy nightlife you could handle, there are other beautiful scenic beaches around.

Take Kata beach for example. A quiet beach with its share of amenities – deck chairs, burger shacks, water skis – this beach is also really close to the resort Avista we stayed at while in Phuket.

For a less crazy but still fun experience, I recommend Kata beach.

Patong is still only a 10 min drive away. Unfortunately at a tourist gouging rate of 400 baht each way.
