State of the Sndbox Competition

@sndbox hosted their 10th monthly thumbnail competition for State of the Sndbox! Each Wednesday Sndbox does a newsletter - State of the Sndbox - to update the Steemit community on their progress, projects , updates and many more.This monthly competition gives Steemians an opportunity to showcase their creativity as the face of the newsletter.

The competition requires a thumbnail having a size of 1000 x 600 pixels using the sndbox's color palette. Deadline is Tuesday, June 5, 2018 5:00pm EST. But earlier submissions are recommended to receive more exposure! Winners will be revealed in the following State of the Sndbox post.

Design Entry

I have made two newletter thumbnails. They only differ in the person's hand position. The first one points his finger on the newspaper and the second one just put his both hands in his pocket.

Design Idea

Since this contest is about designing a newsletter thumbnail that updates the Steemit community of the @sndbox 's progress and ongoing work, I thought of having a newspaper and a reporter in a studio. It is because newspaper and reporter has the same function with newsletter. Both provide updates and events in the community. The newsletter provides sndbox 's updates to the Steemit community. As well as, news provides updates and happenings in the real-world community.
