Live internet call service skype off in UAE

The free video and audio call application online in UAE has been banned.

According to the Emirate media, the UAE government eliminates Internet-based free video and audio-calling facilities from mobile, laptop, tablet. Communications company told in its tweet that Skype has blocked access to voice over Internet Protocol VOIP due to non-licensed IDs.

Skype stated in its statement on its website that the US officials have shown our attention on their application has been closed in the entire Emirates and this Skype service can not be provided for the indefinite period.

Users who have lost free video audio call, criticizing the government's intensification, expressed their grief over social media and demanded revision from the government.
