Make in detail step by step recipe of Tomatoes Soup
| The ingredients and condiments I used for the tomato soup is |  |
- Fresh tomatoes
- Celery
- Garlic
- Chicken Powder
- Black pepper
- Tumeric powder
- Dark soy sauce
- Chili sauce
- Butter
- Corn starch
Procedure
- I washed the tomatoes in water and cut them up. I proceeded to put them into a pot, added water to the pot and boiled it for about five minutes. I then removed the skin of the tomatoes and blended the pulp with a blender and it gave me smooth tomatoes.
- I put butter in a pot and melted it. I added the chopped garlic and fried for a while. I added the chopped celery too. I added the black pepper, chicken powder and the turmeric powder.
- I then add the blended tomatoes, and cooked for a while. I proceeded to add the soy sauce, chilli sauce and cooked for a while ensuring it didn’t get burnt. I added corn starch to the tomato and turned it to thicken it.
- I added water to it and allowed to cooked for three minutes and the soup was ready.

The nutrients in Tomatos soup and their benefits includes:
- Vitamin C, Lycopene, fiber and potassium which is contained in tomatoes, helps to boost the immune, digestion and improves heart health.
- Potassium, vitamin K, Vitamin C and fiber which is contained in Celery helps also in the function of the heart and digestive health.
- Garlic contains vitamin C and it has anti viral and antibacterial properties.
- Butter supports the absorption of nutrients and also adds energy
- Tumeric powder contains anti inflammatory properties
- Black pepper is good for nutrient absorption and supports digestion.

- The victim C helps to fight of cold and flu hence it boost immune system
- It’s a good source of hydration and due to its water content
- It’s a comfort food as it provides warmth and comfort during cold days.

Making the tomatoes soup was easy and I didn’t encounter any challenges with it. I followed the procedure given by the teacher and it was a good experience. I must say that the taste of the soup was so delicious and beyond my expectations. I really enjoyed it and I am glad that I took part in this challenge. I’ve learnt something new.
