The Andromeda Galaxy - M31 from Sta. Eulalia, Peru! 08.09.18
I leave you my last photo of deep space, this is the Andromeda Galaxy M31, one of the largest objects of deep space that we can see from Earth.
It is 2.5 million light years and is about 220,000 light years in diameter! If this galaxy shone like the moon does, it would occupy 9 full moons in the sky!
Andromeda is approaching us at about 300 kilometers per second, and it will merge with our galaxy to form a super giant galaxy in about 5000 million years!
