Catedral de San Ildefonso en Mérida, Yucatán, México.
Hola comunidad de Steemit, hoy vengo a compartirles unas fotografías nocturnas de la catedral de San Ildefonso en la ciudad de Mérida, en el Estado de Yucatán, México.
La catedral de San Ildefonso fue construida en el año de 1599 en devoción a este santo. La construcción empezó en el año de 1562, durando así 37 años .
El edificio es una iglesia católica, tiene con un estilo renacentista franciscano, el material con el que fue construido es de cantera y su grabado principal es de una planta en cruz latina con una nave y crucero.
La catedral de San Ildefonso se encuentra en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Mérida, en el Estado de Yucatán, México.
Es transitada por Miles de personas diariamente incluyendo ciudadanos natales y turistas.
En las noches de los eventos culturales suelen hacer proyecciones sobre la fachada de esta catedral dando un espectáculo maravilloso de luces.
