Speem SEC-S32W1: Script and camera test.
Script Development
For my script development, I created a video on the topic “How to save Electricity at Home.” The main purpose of this video is to educate people on simple habits that could be practiced daily to reduce electricity consumption, save money and avoid energy waste.
In the video, I first introduced some of the important points which are;
- Introduction to electricity saving
- Appliances that consume more power
- Habits we can use to reduce electricity bills
- Advice for other
- Final conclusion
Moving forward, I will first introduce the importance of saving electricity and explain how excessive electricity usage can increase monthly bills. I will also mention how saving electricity can be helpful in the environment.
Secondly, I will show some practical examples using few electrical appliances in my home that consume a lot of power; such electric iron, hotplate etc... I will explain how I manage these appliances carefully to save up, by cooking all my meals at once and ironing all clothes together instead of using these appliances repeatedly.
Another practical examples will be switching off and unplugging sockets whenever they are not in use. I will also explain why it is needful to turn off the control unit when I am leaving the house, which is one of the safest method to save electricity.
Finally, I will conclude by encouraging people to develop simple electricity-saving habit because small and simple actions can make a big difference.
Camera Testing
So for the camera testing, I recorded my video using both artificial light and natural light test. First for the natural lightning, I came outside standing just close to my curtain to show how the sunlight can brighten my face and also how to watchout for rays when making the video. I noticed the natural light makes the video bright and clearer.
For the artificial light test, I used the in-house lightning in my room. This helped me compare how video looks under lightning conditions. Although artificial light may not be as bright as sunlight, it still helps improve visibility at night when it's the only option.
Since I do not have some professional video accessories, I will improvise with simple materials available at home. For Tripod, I will use stacked books to keep my phone steady while recording.
For sound improvement, I will use the editing microphone feature in capcut to make my voice clearer and reduce noice.
This camera test will help me understand how lighting and sound can improve video quality and presentation.
