My perspective towards Religion & Religious practices
As a child grows up, many beliefs that were truth once for him/her start surfacing as a myth or mere fantasy. The most notable one being (even though many adults don't accept this openly fearing blasphemy) is the concept of God and associated religion with it's religious practices. Same may be, imho, extrapolated to the entire human race. We are fairly young and toddlers compared to other species on the planet; as we age probably the entire human race shall start to realize the lies they kept on believing in for centuries and when the mental fog clears up, they shall see things for what they really are. Then at that point of time, world will know peace, less judgement based on what two fools believe in and whose unseen friend is superior to the other. Sometimes I feel the concept of spirituality is so much shaken that it's not a tool for realizing oneself anymore rather much of a medium to get approved by their creator as a superior set of fools basking in the golden glory of superiority complex to such an extent that one needs loudspeakers to tell about the eminence of the higher authority! Well guess what, the core of spirituality shuts itself down every time your supremo is disturbed with those archaic rituals. Imagine you are a god, I constructed a house for you, call it a temple, and once you settle down, every morning I start blasting a loudspeaker right on your roof with verses praising the hell outta you, how would you feel? I can bet my life on the feeling of being irritated ! Also, he/she who created all of the universe, planets, stars, it's inhabitants must be a really smart smart super intellectual and busy guy, you were created and kept on this huge mass afloat in endless space, all that's required from you is to make sense of your life and enrich the beautiful ecosystem, the last thing your creator ever cares about is being praised. Imagine (again, i know it's difficult for mentally blind, but still try) you are a house owner, you made it all, rented to a person, he starts destroying it brick by brick but makes sure that plays loudspeakers telling about how much awesome his landlord is, use the common sense now, and draw the picture, imagine with closed eyes! You'll see a super frustrated guy with immense capability of creation-destruction and a fool dancing, clapping to the beats of ritualistic trance inducing arrangement of vocals with instruments! Don't get me wrong, I am spiritual person myself, respect all the religions, it's their rituals that I can't digest and get mental constipation every time I try to assimilate the intricate steps and ways worship!
