THE BATTLE OF THE 10'S
- It's going down at the bridge where Chelsea will play host to Barcelona for the first leg of the knockouts stage of the champions league. So much has been said of this encounter and its left to be seen if the bridge will hold still or fall flat as two of the best 10's in Hazard and Messi will lock horns to drive their teams to glory. Chelsea vs Barcelona has had their fair share of history with good and bad times for both teams. Reflecting on the 2009 semifinal victory to Barcelona where club talisman Andres Iniesta had the final say in a heated match that saw former referee Ovebro receive several death threats from supporters for his decisions that costs Chelsea a supposed deserved victory where several penalty cries were turned down before last minute Iniesta strike that denied a consecutive Chelsea-United final. Later 2012, Chelsea had their revenge in the most dramatic fashion, playing out a 2-2 at Camp Nou after a 1-0 victory at the bridge. Tonight's meeting will be equally entertaining as Chelsea boasts a number 10 that's capable of inflicting what his opposite number 10 can. Coach Antonio has already stated he will start his best inform players in what will be his biggest match since he took the realms at the West London club. Both teams will aim to get a positive result from this meeting to boost their chances of qualifying to the next round of the competition.
