The Trail Blazer suffer their first loss of the season, as Washington gets its first win. Damian Lillard had his usual 4th quarter performance, but Washington rallied behind Markieff Morris in OT.
Morris led the way with 28 in 25 minutes of play and Oubre followed with an effcient 9/13, for 22 points. Damian Lillard, with 29, was the man for the Blazers.
The game remained close throughout the four quarters, with Bradley Beal nailing the tying three to send the game to overtime, with a tied 111 score. In OT, with a Wizards 4 point lead with 10 seconds remaining, CJ McCollum hit a three to bring Portland within one. John Wall missed both of his free throws, but Otto Porter blocked Lillards game-winning shot, securing the victory for Washington.
Ian Mahinmi left the game after 4 minutes due to back spasms.
