Why you should watch the Premier League

in #sports7 years ago (edited)

The Premier League is the top division of English soccer, or football if you prefer. It is widely known around the world to be a competitive league with many twist and turns during the course of each teams thirty-eight games. It seems that the Premier League will become the best league as each team is looking to strengthen their squad due to more money coming in from TV deals and shirt sales. Even smaller teams such as West Ham are searching for their big money striker. All of this will lead to an increase of talent which will make it hard to get a full three points every week.

The Premier League is also shifting out of one era of dominance into a new one. Legends of the Game such as John Terry and Wayne Rooney are slowly disappearing, and a new generation of players are stealing the spotlight. It is also the end of an era where Manchester United were the dominant team. Now the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham are the teams running riot, while Manchester United and others have to prove themselves again. The players of the new era such as Harry Kane, Pogba, and Sadio Mane have proven they are worth watching to millions of people throughout the world.

It's always a game of out with the old in with the new for the Premier League. It is going to be an amazing year if even half of the rumored transfers play out. Lacazette to Arsenal and Rudiger to Chelsea are just a few players to name, while Mohamed Salah has already signed for Liverpool, who's attack could be deadly. There are already so many talented players who makes the Premier League special. This is definitely the season to watch.

I've been a soccer fan forever, and being able to watch them on NBCsports has been wonderful. Leicester's magic run had me glued to the TV every week. Good post!

Thanks mate! Leicester were fun to watch, and a refreshing twist to the league.

And totally impossible. That was the fun part. It was great to see someone besides the usual suspects on top of the table. Not that Tottenham has been there in some time.

6 sides all with a legit chance of winning it. UTD,City,Arsenal,Liverpool,Tottenham,Chelsea and obviously anyone can after Leicester. No other league has that

I couldn't agree more. The title race became a bit nervy for Chelsea after Crystal Palace pulled out a victory, so anything can happen.
