@sportsncoffee, perhaps consider this:
The tie-breaker of the tie-breaker goes to the first person who put in his/her bet. Then there is only one winner and a major incentive to put your call in early. It also limits the trolls who just copy everyone else...

Why would it go to the first person?Some people can't be on internet 24/7 and wait for new contest posts to be first in.It was only two choices,it's nothing strange that more people won.If it was 10 or more choices,and 7 winners,then it would be strange that 7 people won.I don't see problems that 7 people won yesterday.
You don't have to be on 24/7. The contest comes out every morning. If you don't make it, try the next day.
I understand why 7 people won - that's not the point. The point is to generate greater interest. The best way to do that is to get bigger pots (i.e. more people involved).
It's fine how it is if you like the $1 payouts, but to get more people interested, you gotta boost the pot and limit sharing.
o instead of first person, maybe add more choices, like halftime score and/or winning deficit?
