The 7th Match of the Big Bash League 2023-24 was played today between Melbourne Stars vs Perth Scorchers at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. In which Perth Scorchers defeated Melbourne Stars by 7 wickets.

TOSS- Perth Scorchers won the toss and opted to bowl.

Melbourne Stars Innings-Melbourne Stars batted first and started the inning very poorly, Liam Dawson played an unbeaten inning of 22 runs with the help of 1 six and 2 boundaries in 22 balls, and Hilton Cartwright scored 24 runs with the help of 2 sixes in just 18 balls, Thomas Rogers scored 22 runs in 17 balls, Marcus Stoinis 13 runs in 20 balls, Sam Harper dismissed just for 1 run in 2 balls, Beau Webster 4 runs in 6 balls, Jonathan Merlo 5 runs in 6 balls, Haris Rauf 8 runs in 16 balls, Nick Larkin, Usama Mir, and Joel Paris dismissed without scoring.
