Pellegrini: Mourinho is ‘not my friend’
In a much anticipated clash that will happen just three days after Mourinho's appointment as Tottenham coach, West Ham boss has said he's not a friend with the 'Special One'!
West Ham coach, Manuel Pellegrini did not expect anything spectacular from Tottenham in the much anticipated Saturday clash after managerial shakeup at Spurs.
Pochettino was sacked on Tuesday night and Mourinho was announced less than 12 hours later. Spurs have been having bad matches under Pochettino and are 14th in the Premier League table after 12 matches.
Mourinho's first test will be at West Ham on Saturday. Pellegrini claims that Pochettino would be greatly missed at Spurs considering his years of work at Spurs.
He admitted that Tottenham is a strong team but with Mourinho taking charge just few days to the match, their style of play wont be different from when they were under the leadership of Pochettino.
For Pellegrini, people can say what they want about Mourinho but he is not his friend neither is he his enemy.
This Saturday match will provide an answer or question to the Tottenham team. It would be seen if they are actually a good team or they just need someone to reshuffle them.
