Manchester United set to sign £80m Harry Maguire from Leicester City
The Premier League is getting competitive every year with each team trying to step up and upgrade their playing styles and patterns in a bid to level up with outstanding teams like Manchester City and Liverpool. Manchester United also seems not to leave no stone unturned in order to meet demands of the club fans worldwide.
Manchester United squad have been put through a difficult pre-season so far with Solskjaer keen to raise their fitness levels but it seems the red manager is not only concerned with the fitness levels of the players, but also scouting talented players that can solidify the defense line among which is Harry Maguire from Leicester City.
The England defender emerged as the Manchester United top target this summer ,with Ole Gunner Solskjar desperate to have him in his defense options.
However, for the past few months, it has been a difficult tasks for United to convince the fox to sell him because they are in dire need of need as much as Manchester united wants him. The value of the 26years old Harry Maguire is around £80million with around £10million conditional clauses.
Manchester United seems not to be the only team interested in the Harry but also the premier league title holder, Manchester City but the coast seems to be clearer for Manchester United as they are ready to out muscle Manchester City financially by paying £80million against City £65million.
Maguire will be Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s third signing this summer ,with the arrivals of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniels James.
Maguire left Hull City to join Leicester in 2017 and since then he has rose to the rank of one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
However, he has already made his intention clear to the management of Leicester and with the recent breakthrough in the terms of the transfer from king Power; his move to Manchester United is now imminent.
It sems Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans to partner Harry Maguire with Victor Lindel of should the Red Devils finally complete an £80m move for the defender.
Manchester United are currently in Australia on their pre-season tour as Solskjaer prepares for his first full season in charge at the Theatre of Dreams.
