Juventus were yesterday knocked out by Ajax after falling to a 2-1 defeat at home to Ajax. The Italian Champions at the beginning this season were tipped as one of the favorite to win this year’s Champions league but were rather knocked out of the competition by a team that’s regarded all along as underdogs.
Juve has being shy in front of goals since the beginning of the season and their summer signing Cristiano Ronaldo has only being the threat Juve could provide against opponents and hurts the team. The first leg of the quarter final ended up in a draw for the Italian side with Ronaldo scoring with a header and the second leg yesterday at Turin once again ended up a loss still Ronaldo scoring Juve’s goal.
