It's not free thought. You have been fooled, just like me. If i dare even mention the word, Synereo, or criticize any facet of STeemit, I am automatically flagged by certain whales. They are ruining this experiment. Critiques are necessary to move experiments forward. We have to continue asking questions and being free-thinking people. Otherwise, Steemit will wither away in a shadow of fearful people. NOT GOOD.
As I've stated many times before, the fagging system is the biggest negative on steemit right now. I have warned about the negative implications ( comments here )and they are in fact starting to show. I wholeheartedly disagree with the current flagging philosophy as put forth by Dan and others ( ( here ) ).
Yep, flagging sucks. My feeling is that it's the road to mediocrity. As for an alternative set of "checks and balances", I have no idea, but surely there are enough innovators here to come up with something.
If they would just engage in the battle of ideas, a comment when they don't like something should be sufficient. If they keep this shit up, the real talent will be leaving. Good luck to them with the Spam Lords that will flood this place to pillage.
