@vangie let's say they are similar. PALnet is differently configured, i. e. it has a 50/50 payout model for the author & curator instead of 75/25 like Steemit, you got 1 downvote a day for free, a shorter power down period, etc. But they are both at home on the Steem Blockchain and you can see all the posts on Steemit under the #palnet hashtag.
