Kastura Ghat.
There are a few ghats to go to Maheshkhali from which you can go to Maheshkhali Island by river in a short time. Even if you go to Maheshkhali by land now, it will be a long journey and a long time. Today, I am going to Adinath Ghat and other ghats in Maheshkhali, which has a busy ferry ghat, Kastura Ghat. From here, it is the main waterway for traveling to Sonadia Island, Maheshkhali. From here, locals and tourists go to their destinations.

It takes 15-20 minutes by speedboat from Kastura Jetty No. 6 to Maheshkhali and 45-55 minutes by trawler. The fare for going and coming by speedboat is 280 BDT per person. The trawler is 140 Taka per person. From here, you can go to some other ghats and fishery ghats, which I am not aware of. They wear life jackets while boarding the speedboat or trawler, this is for safety. All these life jackets have been provided by the Maheshkhali Upazila Administration.

There are speedboats and trawlers together here. Tourists have to be careful and alert. Each boat only provides good service for tourists, but of course it is better to arrange a ferry in advance.
Next to it is the Maheshkhali Jhauban, which is half submerged in water during high tide. And at other times, when the water goes down, fishermen hunt crabs and fish.
There are a few speedboats of the Naval Administration at the Jetty Ghati. They always patrol according to the shift. If there is any kind of accident or problem, they take quick action.

The trawlers are anchored here all day long and come out at night to fish. Although fishing is currently prohibited to protect the mother elf, all trawlers are blocked here and the fishery wharf is completely empty.
The speedboats here have a total capacity of 10 people. There are seats for 10. The speedboat drivers here are very skilled. They have acquired skills since childhood. Even though they do not have academic education, they are very skilled in this work.
