The Diary Game: My Shoes Disappointed Me Today/ Work Stress (21/02/2026)

I wanted to enter keke today in the morning to work when my slippers cut, I wasn't happy at all because its not even been long I bought this slippers and it's cutting like that, not as if someone stepped on me or anything, it just decided to cut like that. When I got to the shop, I called the cobbler to sew it.

When the cobbler finished, I paid him and he left. I was in the shop and taking stock if the gas I have sold for a while now. I need money to also fix my faulty phone and touching my savings this early isn't healthy at all, so since I can still manage the phone right now like this, I just let it be.

I was hungry as I couldn't eat in the morning before I left the house, so I called the woman that was selling agidi, I don't know how it's called in english but it's always rolled on a leaf and sold to the public. I bought two wraps and then I began to eat.

One thing about agidi is that is always very heavy and would stay skin someone's tommy for a long time. I had the strength to attend to my customers, they really tried to patronize me today even those that did cash transactions.

Since customers didn't come again in the afternoon, you should know what boredom can do, u had to defeat boredom by cutting and keeping my nails clean and good looking. Instead of me to carry the money and pay someone else to cut my nails, I will rather do it myself.

Hours passed while in shop and just as good as today was, it came to an end so I had to close the shop and returned back to the house. When I got back home, I warmed food and fetched water, I didn't even want to hear that we never had those two.

When I came back from fetching water, I brought the food to outside where I sat and began to eat. The food was delicious, I never knew the food will be this delicious because of how I prepared it with haste.

After I finished eating, I went back inside and too my bath. After bathing, I read my books I bought from the Pastor's training ground. I was reading when the thought of sharing my day flashed and I bought into it.
