The Dairy Game: [20th April, 2026] Fetching Water and Cooking Oil Rice with Big Fish

Introduction

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well.

Recently there's been some light issues in my area to the point it's quite very hard to get water.

So whenever there is light or some available water... Everyone rushes to go and fetch.

This morning, we surprisingly had light and as expected, everyone came to fetch water. I ran as fast as I could, with my 25 liters Gerrycans, so I could get some on time.

Then after a while, I switched my white Gerrycan to a black one, cause of leakage. See here 👇

In the end, I was so glad I could fetch some water. If you live in such neighborhood, you probably can relate.

Now My Cooking

So after resting for a while, I thought of what I could cook quickly with the availabile light.

I decided to cook Oil rice, a very sweet local delicacy that alot of people in Nigeria love.

Here are the ingredients used.

1. White Rice.
2. Fresh pepper.
3. Red oil.
4. Seasoning (Maggi and salt).
5. Curry powder.
6. Smoked Fish.

Here's how it turned out... Very delicious 😋
