The Diary Game : Going to school, writing an unexpected Test and making Rice and plantain stew [12th May, 2026]

Hello and welcome to another episodes of my diary series with @aryoh. As always, its a pleasure sharing my day's activities with you.

Today began with me having a quick morning. I just rushed through my morning routine cause I didn't want to be late. Our lecturer had complained severally about how late we always turned up for his classes and promised to deal with any one who came late again.

I arrived quite early when most people weren't yet present. So I began walking around, stretching my legs and took this picture after waiting close to 30 minutes and only 2 or 3 people showed up.

We eventually had the class and it was nice. Thankfully everyone arrived before the lecturer.

Then shockingly... Another lecturer came in and said he wanted to give us his test. It was impromptu and nobody had expected it. At first we pleaded that he postponed it to another day so we can prepare well, but he was adamant and refused. So we ended up writing it.

It wasn't really difficult, the test. I had read the course during my free time but I would have preferred a better preparation next time. We'll it was all good.

The rest of today went by fast. I did more reading cause who knows thr next lecturer that would come up and say he wants to have a random test?

Then I went home, made boiled white rice and plantain stew... Never tied it like that before, where I fry the plantains and then make a stew in the same pot. It really went well, super delicious.

Well that's about it. I slept through the evening and had the leftover rice for dinner.
