The Diary Game: Good Food,Fun,And Festive Vibes(24/12/2025)

Hello Steemians! 🎄✨

It's Christmas Eve, and I hope you're all enjoying the festive spirit. Today was a long yet satisfying day that included market runs, household chores, delicious food, and a lovely evening outing. So, sit back and relax as I share the details of my day.

After making breakfast, I went to the market for some vegetables for today’s meal. The market was bustling everyone was out shopping for tomorrow’s festivities. I usually avoid the market on Christmas Eve due to the crowds, but today it was necessary. Fortunately, my shopping list was brief, so I was in and out in about 30 minutes getting a bus back home was another issue because they were lot of people with heavy market bags at the bustop struggling to get a bus, finally I found one and headed home.

Once home, I began preparing our meal, which was banku and tilapia 😋. The prep took some time because I wanted the fish to marinate well. After seasoning it, I refrigerated it for a bit before cooking it in the oven. Then came the banku, which was tricky to turn, so I had to call my husband for his assistance. Teamwork certainly made the cooking process smoother! After some serious turning and sweating our meal was finally ready. We all ate to our satisfaction, after which I cleaned up and went to rest.

EVENING FUN- AFRICAN FASHION FIESTA

Later that evening, we received an invitation to an African Fashion Fiesta, so I went with my husband and some few friends. It was such an exciting experience with stunning runway walks,comedy, dance, and great music.l filled the atmosphere I truly enjoyed every moment. However, the event did start later than planned and ran late into the night, so we had to leave before it concluded.

NIGHT CONVERSATION

I returned home feeling quite tired, shared a light snack with my husband, and we spent the night chatting and catching up, which was a lovely way to end the day. Thank you for reading! 💖 Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄✨
