The Diary Game [16/11/2025] // A Sunday Filled With Joy and Little Adventures.
Hi guys, it is another awesome day from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog where I share my daily lifestyle to you all.
The morning began earlier than usual, the kind of early that feels both exhausting and exciting. I woke up with the gentle awareness that it was Sunday, church day and that meant a mix of preparation, purpose, and parenting all rolled into one.
Before the house fully stirred, I slipped into the kitchen to prepare breakfast. The quiet moments while the eggs sizzled and the aroma of tea filled the air felt almost sacred. I took a deep breath, grateful for the peaceful start before the bustle of the day.
Soon enough, the quiet gave way to the kids’ voices, bright and energetic as always. After breakfast was ready, I moved into Sunday prep mode, bathing the kids, helping them dress in their little church outfits, brushing hair that never seems to stay in place, and making sure shoes were on the right feet. Once they looked presentable and somewhat calm, I fed them so we would not start the day with hungry, grumpy little companions. By the time we finally stepped out the door for church, it already felt like I had lived half a day.

Church service was worth the effort, though. The message centered on how praise facilitates the fulfillment of prophecies, a topic that stirred something deep in me. I found myself reflecting on the power of gratitude and worship not just as religious duties but as keys that unlock blessings we sometimes forget we are waiting for. The children were restless here and there, but overall, church brought a sense of grounding that I did not know I needed.

After service, I decided to treat the kids for their good behavior. We headed to a bakery nearby where their eyes lit up at the sight of cookies and little snacks for school. Watching them choose their favorites made me smile; it’s the small joys that make parenting feel rewarding.

From there, we went into town to pick up some groceries at the supermarket, just the usual essentials, but somehow even errands feel lighter on Sundays.

Since the sun was blazing, I thought a fun stop would balance the day. We passed by the wildlife center and decided to spend some time there. The kids were thrilled, pointing at nearly everything, their excitement contagious. After walking around under the hot sun, we cooled off with ice cream, each of us savouring the sweet relief. Moments like that sticky fingers, laughter, creamy spoons, make memories feel tangible.
On the way home, we bought some fresh fruits from a roadside vendor before driving back. Once home, exhaustion finally caught up with all of us, and we sank into a peaceful siesta. Waking up later felt refreshing, and I decided to round off the day with a visit to a friend. It was simple but warm, the kind of connection that makes a long day feel complete.
As I reflect now, I realize how fun-filled today truly was, busy, yes, but full of life. I wish days like this would come around once in a while, reminding me of the joy hidden in ordinary routines. Until my next diary guys,I wsh everyone a blessed work week ahead.
