The Diary Game: A Chaotic Day Fighting Sickness, Getting Drugs And Recovering [19/8/2026]

Hello lovely steemians, hope you all are doing great? It's your girl @chimy and Welcome to another episode of how I spent my day.

Today really tested my faith and strength, I woke up this morning having a slight migraine and feeling of nausea. How I normally feel whenever I'm about to fall sick.

I pleaded with myself not to fall sick but my body went ahead to do what it wanted to do. This morning when I woke up I had my devotion, managed to do some house chores and then I called my brother who is a barber to help give me a haircut because of how grown my hair has become. And I needed a new look.

He started doing it for me, my brother has been a personal barber to me. And he is so good with his craft. After the haircut I felt new and happy. The hair was really giving what it's meant to give and I loved it. Couldn't take my eyes off the mirror

After The hair cut I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. This morning I had pap and Akara for breakfast. That was what my sick body requested.

Well, the pap and Akara turned out to be a very delicious combo and I enjoyed my breakfast.

Not long after the breakfast the migraine became severe and I started feeling weak and down. I decided to sleep to see if the fever will calm down but instead it became worst. And by then my brother has already left the house so I managed to go out and buy drugs to take

I got to the shop told them my symptoms and the prescribed drugs for me to take. I got home took the drugs and not long after I started feeling sleepy. I covered up myself because I was shivering and lay down on the bed.

I couldn't even stand up from the bed. I stayed there until my brother came back to see that I was I'll. He quickly went out to get me something to eat because I told him I haven't had lunch. Even tho I lost appetite I managed to have a few bite because I was on drugs.

After eating I layed back down because I was weak and needed to sleep. I slept and before I could open my eyes again it was already nighttime and by that time I started feeling a bit better and I was glad my brother has already seen that things are in place. He swept and made dinner for us. I was so happy my brother is such a handful.

He prepared water for me to have my bath which I did. After that I had my dinner and then took my drugs.

Even tho I'm still weak now it can't be compared to how I felt during the day, I'm glad I am still able to hold my phone and tell you all how my day went. I pray I fully recover soon enough
