The Diary Game: Tired But Satisfied(24-01-2026)

My beautiful family at steemit greeting to you all. Today's story is about how I spent my weekend
So I woke up early in the morning to do my morning routine, first of all I entered the kitchen to do some cleaning and arranging before I prepare breakfast.

I checked what I had in the kitchen and it was just rice and groundnut oil. Deep down, I knew it wasn't gonna be easy for the day. I quickly rushed to a nearby mini mart to get my complete ingredient for my jollof rice. I arrived at the mart, picked my fresh tomatoes, two big balls of red onions, spicies and fresh pepper.

Returning , I boarded a tricycle popularly known as kekenapep and off to the market I went, since there was no fish at the mart. At the market, I became everybody's customer, and felt very important. So I had to put my shoulders up and walk like a queen that I am. I got to a place I couldn't walk pass because what I actually wanted was there calling on me(fish).Madam how much, I asked, and with a calm smile she stood up and attended to me. At the end, I got my fish and hurried back home.
The preparation didn't take long because everything was just where I wanted them to be.
Before an hour and thirty minutes elapsed, I was done cooking. My jollof rice came out very palatable and sumcious, and so with my chivita juice I enjoyed my meal.

A few minutes later, I heard a knock on my door, who is that , I asked walking to the door. It's me Susan your neighbor, I want to make my hair, please are you free? I opened the door, and she was right there looking helpless. I would love to make your hair but right now I'm tired and want to rest. But all I said made no sense to her as She waited there , looking at my face like a little child who was beaten by an older sibling. At that point, I accepted to make her hair immediately, and to put a smile on that face because as a stylist, customers satisfaction is my priority. She handed over her extension, a smooth and silky texture hair, I want it to be eye catching she added. I performed the magic as usual making sure that my signature was on her head. I gave in my best notwithstanding all I did before she arrived. She was so excited, couldn't talk for a minute without touching her hair. She promised to bring her sister as she was leaving. I was so happy that I could make her smile.

This was how I started and also ended my day. I couldn't keep it to myself so I had to bring it to my family. I'm glad I also made you smile reading this. Bye for now.
