The Diary Game: A Lecture Free Day/ Sport Day In School (05/02/2026)

Today was departmental game day and it was a footballing day for our department. We played against the Department of Estate Management. When I went to school, I saw the guys and they were already dressed up, they were waiting for the referee to come and commence the match.

When the referee came, the match commenced and I would say that our departmental guys did so well to hold their opponents tight during the first half. It was the second half that we lost it to our opponents because of the carelessness of our goalkeeper. They scored us one goal and that was how the match ended and they won us.

At the end of the day, it's just football and winner need be. Our goalkeeper is but s human being so he is bound to err. I left the pitch and went to class. I stayed and waited to hear if there will any lectures today but according to our class rep, he told us there won't be any lectures for the day so I left the school.

When I left the school, I wan to Uyo city Plaza so that I could get myself a pam slippers that I will be wearing to school. I was amazed at how beautiful the plaza had been transformed. I can't even get enough of the beauty. So I took pictures of the plaza and you could see how busy the place is.

I wanted to buy Pam slippers but then, I changed my mind and went for shoes, I will need shoes to wear to both school and church so I went on and bought a pair of shoes and went back home. I have two pam slippers at home, that will take me till I am able to save money to get new ones.

When I got back home, I was hungry but there was no good to eat when I got to the house, so I went and bought beans, I had raw rice at home. So I began to prepare the rice and added the beans together. When I finished cooking and eating, I was tired and it was late in the evening.

Every time I am this tired and I eat too much, sleep is always like it wants to tear my eyes, I went and took my bath and I regained strength and that was how I attended steemit class before sharing my diary. I am really dizzy right now and would want to go and sleep.
