The Diary Game: 28 /05/2026: Designing for the first time, Gaming and Good food

Hi everyone, it's holiday here in Nigeria and our Muslim brothers and sisters are still in celebration of Eid Mubarak. Today was a mix of creativity, a little bit of unwinding, and celebrating small personal efforts. I wanted to share a few highlights from my day with you all through these photos of mine.

To kick things off, here is a photo of me that my friend recently edited. I really like how the clean background contrasts with the vibrant colors of my shirt. It’s always great to have creative friends who know how to make you look good! It's one of the photos he edited and this one really looks great.

I am incredibly excited to share this one. This is literally the first design I have ever done in my life! I’ve been trying to pick up new skills, and I put this together to showcase my details as a 300-level student and past course rep/clerk at the University of Uyo. It feels amazing to finally turn an idea into a visual flyer. We all have to start somewhere, and this is my Day 1! Hope you don't mind rating it in the comments section

After spending time working on my design with the Canva app, I needed to clear my head and unwind. For me, that means diving into a game of Dream League Soccer (DLS). Check out this perfect angle of a goal I scored—straight past the keeper and into the back of the net! Nothing beats the feeling of a clean victory after a productive afternoon. DLS has been one of my favourite games. I really love playing with online players.

To wrap up a great day, it was time to refuel. Tonight’s dinner wasn't that classic, it was a plate of well-prepared noodles mixed with eggs, prepared by my cousin. Simple, delicious, and exactly what I needed to cap off the night. After which we sat outside to get some breeze before going inside.
