The diary game 20/04/2026 plan on hold

today I step out with a simple mission to buy few things for my family and to cook a delicious bitter leave soup for the family, the list was small the street ordinary and the day looked set for quick errands .

I walked towards the bus stop and entered bus as soon as I entered, the conductor closed the front door not knowing that my hands are still there and I got injured on one of my hand I tried to grip the cart but the moment string widened into a dull ache and I know I could not continue the shopping .

with one hand useless and the other throbbing I turned back home moved slowly counting steps and trying not to wince too loudly by the time I reached our door , the item stayed in the store untouched I told my family what happened in few words as I could I got hurt I could not buy anything today but I will try tomorrow there was quiet laugh and I also remember the dirty cloth that I suppose to wash .

we have all had days that did not go as planned .today's lesson came not from the shopping list but from the pause be patient ask for help and adapt now I rest the hand ,trend the ache and hold onto the idea that tomorrow brings a fresh chance to help my family finally I brought out okro soup from the fridge and make garri for every one to eat since I could no longer cook bitter leave soup as I promised them .
