If you know me personally you'll know i get excited when i hear anything football.
Since entered university i haven't really being playing football as much as i was playing before i got in.
My first year in the University was the worst year for me in terms of playing football, I didn't kick a ball for a whole 10 months out of 12 months, this was in 2024. I tried getting into my department team but they said they were already complete, so I wasn't able to participate in any football competition in my year one. Same thing happened when I entered my second year , now I'm currently in my third year and I was finally added to my department football team.

I got accepted right about when we were playing departmental league, that is a league among year one to year 4 students.
I was selected among the players to represent my level. But since the league started I have just been coming on as a substitute in most of the matches.
Surprissenly today being the final match of the league i was told i'd be starting and that I'd also play full match because the person playing the position i play called in injured. That's double joy, i get to start in the final and i also get to play full match.
I was determined to just enjoy the game today and probably play my best game of football in years.
We won the final by two goals to nill. Even though i didn't score any of the two goals i had fun playing the full match and not just any normal full match....a final at that.
This would probably go down as the best day in my life to be honest.
