The Diary Game: Choral Rehearsal, Church Service And A Day Of Sober Reflection [15/03/2026]
Hello everyone, happy Sunday to you all. Today happen to be mothering Sunday service in my location, so I prepared earlier for church, got up from bed around 4am, prayed, bathed and ate few slices of bread and tea, then got ready to go to church. I went out of my apartment to search for a taxi that will take me to church,I was able to get one that took me to the parish. I got to the parish around 7am for choir rehearsals which lasted for about fourty five minutes, we then got ready for service.
Being a mothering Sunday, women who attended today's service were highly appreciated for their effort in keeping the home, supporting their various husbands, doing the house chores, including taking care of their children. The service also had a session of praise and worship where everyone took time to dance, praise and worship god for his wonderful work in the lives of mothers in the entire world. It was really an exciting program and I wished the father's day will be more exciting than today's own.
After the service ended, the choir members gathered again for briefing by the choir director or master and gave us some hints to ensure we perform better than today. It was time to go home, so I greeted the choir members and left the church premises to my house.

At evening,I sat down somewhere in my room to have a sober reflection of my life, but this time bothering on taking good care of my parents. I pondered on the sacrifices my parents have made for me to get to this level, their provision of food, clothes, shelter, even paying hospital bills and more. I asked myself, have I been able to return same favour to them? I was really sad because the last I spoke to them was two weeks ago, and sending them Money was last month, I fell so sad at this development and immediately called them on phone, spoke with them for about two hours, later on sent some money to them. I promised to keep in touch with them at least once a week.
They were really excited and even prayed for me. I felt a big relief after this moment, joy filled my heart. I walked around my room and compound feeling sort of fulfilment. Thank you all for reading.
