Hello, greetings to everyone,it is a great day, though on my own side it's still a moment of sorrow and grief as the day started me in tears as I looked for a way to convey my in law's corpse to another mortuary in his own state,so that it will be easier for funeral arrangements when it is time.

By 8 O'clock AM,I went to the Primary Health center Ugep in Cross River State to book for an ambulance that will carry the corpse from the mortuary that was preserved for a day to another one that will store it till the time for funeral arrangements. As I arrived at the health center, they took me to the transport officer and I saw the lady who asked me the location of the corpse and the destination I'm taking it to,so I disclose everything to her, that it is Uyo Akwa Ibom State, so she told me #250,000 naria which when i calculated it in steem@ the rate of #95.00 in my local currency , Naira,it was 2,631.57895 Steem, so we bargain on #200,000,so we agreed on that which i paid her so she released the Ambulance and give me a driver. So I drove with the driver to the mortuary to pick the corpse.

In the afternoon I was in the mortuary with the driver to pick up the corpse, when i get there the one day mortuary preservation was another problem as they demand #70,000 thousand Naira for a day of preservation and a body bag to put the dead corpse at the rate of #10,000 Naria,so to source for money was a problem,I call his friends that I knew and some immediately responded positively to my calls and the bill was settled. As a matter of fact,.some money were transferred into my account and I Paid for the mortuary bills, the the corpse was arranged into the Ambulance and we commence our journey to Uyo Akwa Ibom State Capital Nigeria. The influence of the falling rain was still overwhelming me and other that followed me, influence was much as we were on the road going, so throughout the afternoon the journey was stressed and tears till we arrived Akwa Ibom State.

In the evening,as I arrived at the Ikot Ekpene mortuary by 5 O'Clock pm it was all tearful moment as senior men of God were present to receive the body of my departed in-law and to be deposited in the Mortuary for storage pending when the funeral will be arranged by the family., the arrangement was another phase to get it done,we were still in the mortuary to agree with the management the amount of what to be paid and the months that it will be in the embalment section, after everything,I went to another location in the main town to continue my journey, so I stopped by and booked a place to sleep.

This is such a a great and painful loss. It hurts me so much to know that someone who was with the wife and mother at a burial function on Friday is no more today. I can't question God. May God grant his soul eternal rest and comfort his family, love ones and friends

The death of your inlaw is a painful one. He was not sick, i saw him on Friday and others were with him on Saturday in a burial at Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom. Hearing about his sudden demise on Monday was the greatest shock of the week.

Who are we to question this case, i will only pray for God to comfort you because no words can do it better.

Please my senior Steemian @etette, take heart. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family now and always in Jesus Christ's name AMEN21X

May his soul rest in peace
