The Diary Game: IBom Plaza New Look, A Breathe Of Fresh Air.(05-02-2026)

Taking a little walk around town today was one of the most relieving thing I did today. I have been shuffling at home and work and barely have time to just go and have fun outside. Today, I visited Ibom plaza.

I wanted to see the transformation people were actually talking about and when I got there, I saw everything by myself. Immediately I reached the plaza, I asked myself if this was the same plaza I knew years back? Like the same plaza people messed up and littered things all over, it's now been turn to a mini heaven.

I took a walk around the plaza to be sure my eyes weren't deceiving me at all. Everything was really as the air, I looked at how the whole place was repainted, even the trees and the walls, I was so proud of the governor for doing something as beautiful as this. If you are in Uyo, you will agree with me that Ibom plaza is the first stop for anyone coming into the town, so, it's like the heart of the town and seeing it messy years ago always made me question the integrity of the past governors but right now, this present governor did so well.

I was enjoying the view, this place was always filled with people selling one thing or the other, messing up the place and I like it that those people were sent out and given another spot to sell their items without loitering the place again. I took a walk to the Pilgrims Pentecostal Ministry, their billboard was worked on, infact, Uyo is now very beautiful, very very beautiful to behold.

When I finished touring Ibom plaza, I left and went back home, when I got back home, the little trekking I did at the plaza made me so tired and I bathed and went to go and take my nap because I had somewhere to go to in the evening.

When I woke up, I dished my vegetable soup and ate then after eating, I called my sales girl to send me the items I would need to take to the market tomorrow and shop for them. When she sent, I also asked my auxiliary nurses to compile all the test samples because tomorrow, I will need them to take to the laboratory for test.

After eating, I took my bath and dressed and left. I went to choir rehearsal because on Sunday I want to be among the choristers. I have stayed back from the choir for like two weeks now and it's not even nice again. So when I got there, I paid for those days I couldn't attend and then I was allowed to sing in the choir.

When I came back from church, I called my mum to hear from her and also told her to keep my palm oil for me that I will come on Tuesday to pick it up. Then I ended up the call so that I can bath and come share my steemit diary.
