This picture alone speaks volume of my joy and happiness. This is indeed one of my best days.

Thursday, the 3rd day of July, 2025 shall remain evergreen in my memory as it is the day I was Inducted into the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria(TRCN), a body that oversees the affairs of teachers within my country. Being a part of this organisation is a dream come true for me.
Being a member of the TRCN certifies me as a qualified and recognised teacher. This not only serve as an honour but a source of protection and adds a touch professionalism to my career.
As I smile this day, I remember the hardships and pains I went through just to obtain this honour, I would love to share a summary of that journey with you.
Prior to this day, I had bought the forms, which cost about 10,000Naira (approx. 55 steems). I remember the long tarry through the night just to ensure I cover several chapters of voluminous textbooks so as to pass the qualifying exams with a distinction. I remember the relief on my face when u saw the results and the pains i felt when i saw the requirements to meet up woth the induction.

Even with all these, I still had to face the stress of combining these preparations with my usual school work, tests and eventually examination's.
At some point I wanted to give up like some others (maybe try again next year when I'll be done with school work), but I don't know where I found strength to hold on tight.
But now I'm glad that I held on tight, I was succesful amd amongst those that were inducted into the noble teaching profession.

One particular benefit this event which held at the Onyema Ugochukwu hall of the great University of Uyo, Nigeria, was that it gave me an opportunity to step into the larger world.
I met great people and was privileged to receive a special lecture by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, whose words inspire me and has shaped by perspective on my career. Also, I had the opportunity to bond with my friends and colleagues who came around.

In conclusion I would say that this day has not just been all fun, but I've learnt important lessons one of which is the need for hardwork and not giving up. Yes chasing one goals might hurt at first but from this experience, I've learnt that the thrills and rewards are great.
