The Diary Game: Making A New Dress For Church (22-03-2026)

I didn't finish sewing the clothes I was supposed to wear today to church, so when I woke up today, very early, I went on to where I do sew clothes and did the finishing touches on the clothes. I started with the top.

When I finished with the top, I took the trouser and began to sew. I did the finishing touches on the trouser again and then I ironed them. By this time, my husband and my daughter had already gone to church and I was left alone in the house still struggling to figure out the clothe.

After I finished sewing and ironing the clothes, I wore it and it looked so beautiful on me. So, I went to church with that. People were commending me and asking who sewed it for me, they never knew I did it myself untill I told them so. When I got to church, I had my seat at the back of the church. It wasn't a long one by the way.

Church service was wow and though I was at the back, almost sitting at the overflow, I had my double portion of blessings as that was the theme for the day's sermon. After church, I went to my husband and my daughter then we paid taxi to the house.

Since we got back home, there was beans I prepared the previous night, I brought it out and then I made pap so that we can all eat with it. That was both our breakfast and our lunch because we came back from church around 1pm or so.

After we finished eating, I cleared everywhere and then I also went to go and sleep because it was like everybody were going to bed. I slept till I was woken up by the alarm I set. It was time to go and wash clothes.

I went to the laundry room and I found the clothes I wanted to wash, I began to wash them and after that, I hanged them outside for the hot sun to touch them to dry. When I finished, I came back to the bathroom to come and pour water on myself because it was really hot outside.

When I finished, I removed the groundnut from the drawer and then I began to spread them out on the tray, I added salt and then I waited for the sun to dry it so that I can fry and keep it at home. My husband loves groundnut so much, especially if you pair it with banana.

When the groundnut was dry, j removed it from the sun and then I can back inside and began to fry it. The heat was making me sweat but I had to finish up before I take my bath again. When I finished with that, I took my bath and went outside to sit where my family were.

We sat outside till it was too cold to stay longer, I went inside and made bed then called my husband to carry my phone that was outside and bring it inside. When they came, we prayed our night prayer and I continued with sharing of my day.
