The Diary Game: Sunday Routine And The Resume Shock(22:03:2026)

Hello Pookies, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username. This morning I woke up again to prepare for church, I did my chores before taking my bath. I prepared and sat outside waiting for my parents to finish so we go to church together, dad had fueled his tank so I knew I'd be getting a free ride to church so I sat innocently outside with my brother and we later seized the opportunity to take Sunday pictures.

Dad came out and we were now waiting for mom, you know how women takes longer in getting dressed. I guess she was touched by the Holy Spirit which made her come out few minutes after dad did and we all got into the car and went to church. Arriving church, I walked into the auditorium and had my seat as sermon was already ongoing and towards afternoon, my stomach began to bite so I went outside and luckily found a shop which was opened, I bought biscuits and soft drink for snacks before going back into the church. As I entered, closing prayer was made but mom and dad had some meeting to attend so we spent like extra thirty minutes before going home.

As we arrived home, I changed and went into the kitchen to cook. My mom joined me later and together we prepared palm oil rice with fish which served as lunch before I took my bath and relaxed. I just couldn't sleep as I kept thinking of my second semester results for year one which has not been released yet and which deep in thought, I saw received a notification from my class group and I decided to check out the information and was in awe when I read that my school is resuming tomorrow for the next semester and we're yet to be done with our exams.

I didn't know how to react but I knew I was going to give myself two weeks break after my exams even when school resume and activities has started fully. I began to have slight headache which made me fall asleep, I woke up to my neighbor's kid who came for revision, I wasn't strong enough to go outside with her so I asked her to stay with me in the room so we could do the revision. When I finished, I called my school mom to speak with her a little as I've missed her so much, when we got off the call, I received a data subscription from her and I called back to thank her.
