My Diary Game: (30/03/2026) A Day of Traffic, market drama and chaos

‎ Today was quite an eventful day for me. ‎I started my morning with the intention of going to the market, because my mom informed me that we ran out of foodstuffs for the house,so I was going to get some foodstuffs.on my way to the market i made a list of what to get there hoping it will go smooth and fast. ‎

However my journey to the market was not as I planned,I ran into traffick along the way when I say traffic, i meant spending an hour in the bus,No cars were moving and then the heat made it worse and uncomfortable.i had no choice but to be patient and wait it out because it was not walkable and I was getting frustrated and even thought of going back home. ‎

the market,it was busy as usual I got some egusi,garri, crayfish and potatoes .I went around buying foodstuffs I needed, and checking if it was what I budgeted and if I could get good deals. On my way back home I witnessed something quite dramatic.people were quarrelling over prices of goods. ‎

it seemed like the recent increase in prices made everyone tense ,and both buyers and sellers were trying to defend there position,the argument drew a lot of attention from people nearby including me. Not far from the scenes I also noticed discussion about fuel cost increasing rapidly ,and how it affects transportation of goods it made me realize why prices of things were increasing. ‎

Finally going home I met some traffick but it was not much,I got home feeling tired and relieved. I ate beans and bread because I needed food after the whole marker drama, Despite everything that happened I was happy I got what I wanted to buy from the market, it was a long day but it gave me a better understanding of the kind of stress people go through daily ‎
