‎The Diary Game: [23/04/2026] ‎Feeding Rabbits, Preparing snails, And Attending Church

‎Greetings my lovely people. Today I'll walk you through how I spent my day. I was going through different reels on my phone last night, not until I saw one that caught my interest. It was a video of a 12 year old preparing snails, and it happened that this is the period that snails are of abundance. Its been a min I had tasted that delicacy, so I discussed with my brother about preparing one for ourselves. He gave an idea about searching for it around the nearby bushes, rather than just getting it from the market. I thought of how great of an experience it will be, following the fact that it's been a while we tried something like that. I answered, "alright, let's go for an adventure". So at about 5:30 am, we got out of the house with our different containers and torches and began to search.

Searching for snails is quite fun, and at the same time risky because you might get caught up with another unfriendly animal. In our course of searching, I heard a slight movement in the bush. It was funny at first, because I was just speaking of snakes with him until we heard the slight movement. I am always very skeptical about things, so during this time I urged my brother to remain silent while using his torch wisely. It happened that he was the first to see the snake. Out of fright, he threw away his container of snails and ran without me. I gazed careful upon the snake and used the matchet I was holding on it. It was later a period of laughter to the reaction of my brother when he saw the snake. He begged if we could go home already to avoid another encounter. And since we had caught enough snails for the day, we decided to retire home, though I branched a small bush to get some grazings for my rabbits.

When we got home, I proceeded to feed my rabbits then joined hands with my brother to prepare the snails. After the initial washing of the snail slime, which took about 1 hour 42mins, we made fries of the snail.

When it was finally ready, we took turns in eating as we played rock, paper, scissors. It was all fun and more.

After the whole feeding, since today is Thursday, I had to make preparations for church. Also, I had a little presentation to make, so I rushed to get it done. I left for church around 4:40 pm, and returned around 7:35 after the whole service.

When I got home, I didn't have much to do, so I took a shower, ate from the remaining beans I had in the fridge, saw a movie, then rushed down here to write about my day.
